Oh my dear. My husband and I had a similar experience when disagreeing about the top 20 US cities and whether Santa Fe made the cut. I'm sure we were quite a sight in the restaurant, both on our phones, racing for the answer. I'll let you do your own search, while I look up the whereabouts of dearly departed Ms. Peron. ;)

I am the exact same way, Christy. So is my husband. And we love that technology has now enabled us to get the instant information that we crave, as opposed to all the work we had to do when we were younger - when you could spend hours in the library and still not find the information you were looking for! Don't get me wrong - I love the library. But when you want to know information fast, I would much rather look it up on my phone than wonder. And I think this serves as a great parenting tool, because when our kids want to know things like what's the tallest building in the world or how do submarines work...we can tell them!

You are an infomaniac just like me. No wonder we are such good friends. Now if you will excuse me I have to go find out what happened to her body. It will make me nuts if I don't.

This is so true, technology in this case is only helping you be who you are and facilitating your access to the info you need/want.
Thank you for sharing - I feel better about my own attachment to the internet!
It must be a reflective kind of day...
