Aqua dots were expected to be one of the hottest toys of the holiday season here in the States. The beads are similar to those craft beads that fuse together with heat, except that these fuse with water. The product has already been recalled from Australia and is expected to be recalled in the US shortly. According to CTV.ca: "Scientists in Australia say tests have revealed that the beads contain a chemical that the body metabolizes into the "date rape” drug GHB (gamma hydroxy butyrate).
